Since Berlin and Helsinki are fairly, we decided to visit Jaleh. :) Our 3 day short visit is sweet and full of salmon.😅 We bought a three-day tram unlimited pass and you can take both trams an buses. The old city is cute and small and we happened to see lots of local college students playing field games throughout the city. (Oh young people! lol)Read More

It's always great to have an old friend traveling with you, PLUS a surprising spontaneous meet up with another one, PLUS explore the city with a good looking friend lol. They were the highlight of this trip. Needless to say, the main purpose of my third Berlin trip was all about LOLLAPALOOZA. The lineup was crazy good this year for the rock and roll / electro fans.Read More
This is the third time I've been to Montreal and first time to Quebec, so I am gonna introduce some events/locations that is not touristy and worth visiting. This is also my first time traveling with my graduate school mate Darcy. Haven't seen her for more than one year and it's been hell fun with her.

The reunion trip continues. I had some spare time between London and Dublin, and I've decided to visit the town on the northeast called Newcastle upon Tyne. The train ride from Kings Cross to Newcastle was pleasant and the scenery is beautiful especially when you are on the bridge about to enter Newcastle station. It's the same ride from Virgin to Edinburgh. If you have time, I highly recommend the short trip.Read More
2016 is probably the year that I reunited with my friends the most. From school, from home, and even from backpacking. So the start of 2016, I've decided to visit the place where the friends met in Paris currently live: Toronto.

Although I've been to Japan for many time, this is the first time ever I've been in Shizuoka and Nagoya. Taking bullet trains itself is quite an experience. A sense of familiarity, but not quite the same as the ones in Taiwan. My short stay here is full of wonders and lots of laugh!

After Europe, I went back to Asia after 3 years. Last time I visited Tokyo, it was 2005. Tokyo has a sense of familiarity and a sense of freshness since everything changed so fast here. I've also met some interesting people here.

After Istanbul, it's a bit strange to be back in the western city. Everything looks very different from the past 10 days, yet it's so familiar to be back in the westernized city.

Istanbul, it wasn't on my list, but it turned out to become my favorite city thus far. I didn't plan all my cities beforehand. I only had three when I started. When I met Ryley in Paris, he showed me his whole plan and Istanbul grabbed my eyes. We were supposed to meet up in Istanbul, but unfortunately he couldn't make it! My stay in Istanbul was second home hostel and it truly made me feel like a second home there. Here are the stories of the people in the hostel!

Oh Prague, the ultimate wedding destination, is as beautiful as you can imagine. Walking down the Charles Bridge is romantic, overlooking the city from the castle is romantic, and thanks to the travelers and locals, my trip here is adorable and satisfying a foodie can be!

The reason why I listed Rome in my trip was all because of the Gladiator (yes, Russell Crow and that movie!) I really wanna see the Colosseum. Rome is one of the oldest cities in the world and it hasn't changed that much. You can still see the same view of Palatine as hundreds of years ago. I've also met some wonderful people here that show me the modern side of Rome.

The third stop of my trip is Paris. Frankly speaking, I didn't have a lot of expectations on what to see or what to do. It's a major city after all and you know, the cities are similar in some ways. What I didn't know is that I was about to meet some amazing people in this white city.

Where to begin? Edinburgh is probably one on my favorite place in the whole trip. Honestly after London, this was the first time I knew nobody there and I am completely on my own. I was pretty excited to see all the amazing highland I read from novels.

I was lucky enough to be in New York and have known lots of dancers all over the world. Some of them are originally from London or moved to London. I felt like I have another group of families here even though I've never been to London before.
